Adaptive Choice was proud to be part of the magical Winter Festival at Darling Park, Sydney – a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and inclusion! 🧣✨

🎬 A Super Day Out at the Movies! 🦸‍♂️🍿

Adaptive Choice recently treated our participants to a special outing to see the new Superman movie — complete with popcorn, drinks, and ice cream! 🍦🥤

It was a fantastic way to connect, unwind, and enjoy a fun-filled experience together outside the usual routine. At Adaptive Choice, we’re all about creating meaningful moments and making sure our participants feel valued and included.

🌿 Adaptive Choice at Symbio Wildlife Park! 🐾

Today, our amazing participants enjoyed a fun-filled day out at Symbio Wildlife Park, connecting with nature and experiencing the joy of interacting with their favourite animals — all in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. 💚

From cuddly koalas to curious meerkats, playful lemurs, and even the cheeky red pandas, there was wonder around every corner! Some highlights included:

🦘 Meeting baby kangaroos ("Junior")
🐨 Seeing sleepy koalas up close
🐒 Laughing with the lemurs and monkeys
🐧 Watching penguins waddle and swim
🦎 Learning about reptiles with the zookeepers
🐐 Visiting the friendly farmyard animals
🐶 Spotting the dingoes
🦡 Getting a glimpse of the shy wombats
🦔 Discovering the unique echidnas up close

These enriching experiences not only bring joy but also support social connection and sensory engagement for all our participants.

🎣 School Holiday Programs Are Underway! 🌿

We're kicking off the break with an exciting fishing excursion at Bobbin Head, near the beautiful Mount Kuring-gai! Participants are diving into hands-on experiences in nature—learning new skills, building confidence, and having a fantastic time outdoors.

They’re exploring:
✅ Casting techniques
✅ Tying effective knots
✅ Understanding fish behavior
✅ Reading the water
✅ Choosing the right bait and lures
✅ Landing a fish
✅ ...and so much more!
