The Australian Government is reforming in-home aged care with a new program called the Support at Home program. It’ll help older Australians remain in their home and community for longer.

Under the Support at Home program, you’ll only pay contributions on the services you receive, and you’ll no longer pay a Basic Daily Fee. We’ll determine how much you need to contribute towards your care using a means assessment.

If you already get a Home Care Package, you don’t need to do anything – you’ll automatically be moved to the Support at Home program on 1 November 2025.

We are still recruiting to meet increased demand. Our preferred areas are the Huon Valley, West Coast, St Helens and Fingal Valley but we are taking applications from all areas. We have filled all male support worker positions and are still looking for some additional female support workers.
