An unrealised fantasy that some thing or some one outside of your own self can and will heal you, is the perfect recipe for hyper-arousal/ sympathetic overload (always seeking/chasing, never finding), dopamine addiction, paranoia and bouts of, or, chronic depression.

Then, the exhausted, disillusioned realisation that the external chase didn’t deliver, and blaming others and the world got you alienated, goes hand in hand with panic and anxiety… where you feel frozen, stuck.

Then you go again, looking to the Universe for answers, and waste your time, money and focus on the charlatans who sell you that fantasy.

Befriend and restore your autonomic nervous system.
It changes your energy.
It changes your life.

You’ve just been trying to love people who don’t love themselves.

As soon as you realise you have been trying to get the acceptance and approval from people who don’t love themselves, hopefully that frees you from everything you have been doing and you can redirect your time, your effort, energy and resources and awareness back towards yourself and remembering where that love truly resides and living from that part of you that is real, that never dies, is infinite and immortal ~

So much of what we call “self-sabotage” is actually our nervous system trying to keep us safe.

It keeps us in what’s familiar - even when familiar means survival mode, fear, shrinking, or forgetting our own worth. Not because we’re broken… but because protection once kept us alive.

Real change doesn’t come from forcing or shaming ourselves.

It comes from gentle, consistent movement through the discomfort - with safety, support, and compassion.

When the body feels safe, the soul can expand. When the nervous system settles, clarity, self-love, and true power return.

Every choice you make has an energetic consequence.

It’s rarely the big traumas that weigh the most on your psyche - but the response you expected others to have.

It’s the small innuendos, the silence,
the absence of support you thought would be there because of what happened to you.

The deeper trauma asks:
How can I hold this alone?
Who can I talk to?
Don’t I matter?

The body can take a blow but what truly shakes you is the absence of a sacred witness.

That’s the trauma that buckles you.
Not the event - but the belief that you don’t matter enough.

There is a direct correlation between your energy (light) and your body (matter). The more you hemorrhage your energy, the more vulnerable you become - to more density, disconnection, and the erosion of synchronicity, vitality, and ease.

In the world of light, law, and love,
all is transparent. You are not held accountable for what you did or what happened to you, but for why you did it and what you did about it.

When you believe false narratives -
“I don’t matter. I am nothing. It wasn’t serious. I should be over it,” your energy follows those thoughts that eventually become beliefs.

These unhealed meanings become the very stress that can manifest as symptom, illness, or disease.

Fate takes over when your energy is compromised in this way and then, you cannot make choices in alignment with your destiny.

Destiny takes power.

Your light is your power.
Your lead is your gold.
Your word is your wand.
Your focus is your reality.

The most healing thing you can do for yourself is to Tell The Truth.

Stimulating your Vagus Nerve activates your parasympathetic nervous system - your body’s rest, digest, and repair mode. But yes, you can overstimulate it - and it can lead to dizziness, nausea, feeling spacey and in severe cases, reduce your heart rate too much.

Regulation isn’t one-size-fits-all. Ice plunges for example are not advisable for everyone, certainly not if you struggle with strong stress responses. It can spike blood pressure even further and strain your cardiovascular system. Start slow with gentle cold exposure to build capacity without flipping into more dysregulation.

Similarly, long baths or nights on the couch fuelled with wine can aggravate the dorsal vagal response and deepen the collapse, slowing the heart rate even further, reinforcing the “checked out” feeling. Your body will benefit more from humming, gentle rebounding and cool showers.

💡Be state-specific: know your state before choosing your tools. The right practice for the wrong state can make you feel worse, not better!

A bit about “Wired buy Tired”/ Freeze:

Freeze is the body’s response to extreme / life-threatening stress, and functional freeze or “always wired but tired” often comes from unresolved trauma and chronic stress.

Gentle movement, vibration, mental health support, and safe connection with trusted others are some of your bridges back to presence.
