As part of the Strengthening Medicare program, My Medicare is a new voluntary and free registration model designed to improve continuity of care. By linking yourself to your GP and general practice, you can experience better coordination between your healthcare teams.

We're excited to announce a Colouring In Kids Competition with 3 winners across 3 age categories! 🏆

It's a very sad day here at AMS as we farewell our Nurse Michelle as she begins her next chapter of life in far North Queensland.

There are no words to describe our sadness at losing an amazing, caring, compassionate and extremely skilled nurse who has worked tirelessly and compassionately for the past 10 years at AMS. Our patients always praise Michelle's care and dedication, she will be missed by not only her colleagues but also our many patients.

We wish you all the very best and will never forget your hard work and dedication, along with your humor and laughter.

🚆 Staying on Track with Rail Safety Standards! 🩺

Our dedicated GPs—Dr David Daoud and Dr Imogen Bertock, with Dr Casolin, and Dearne—They recently attended the annual Authorised Health Professional (AHP) Rail Cat 3 Training Day. 📚Dr Casolin is not one of ours , he is the Chief Rail Officer for Transport NSW and Dearne is our Corporates Manager.

This essential training aligns with the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers, ensuring we’re equipped to support Rail Transport Operators in managing health-related risks for rail workers.

The standard, backed by the Rail Industry Safety Standards Board (RISSB) and the Australasian Railway Association (ARA), provides a consistent, industry-wide approach to keeping rail safety workers healthy and safe.

✅ Why it matters: Keeping rail workers safe helps keep Australia moving. We’re proud to contribute to this vital standard and ensure the highest level of care for our rail safety community!
