Just a Sunday reminder that not everything and every body you see on social media is real.

This is real life not a highlights trailer for a movie ✌🏼 ⬇️
✨ I’m very aware I need to clean my mirror. This was a very spontaneous post getting ready to go for a walk and the kids have run feral.

✨ I’m also very aware my tan lines are horrendous, you should see the one from my watch 🙃😂 and that I have a giant pile of clean clothes to refold on my bed that Millie took upon herself to throw all over the floor to use the washing basket as a boat.

Nutrition isn’t about how ‘Instagrammable’ your meal is—it’s about how it fuels and satisfies your body. Don’t fall into the pressure of perfection. It’s the taste, balance, and nourishment that matter most! 🍽️

All too often I hear “it doesn’t look good but..” no buts. I don’t give a f**k how it looks and neither do the rest of your followers or anyone else that gets to see it for that matter.

Your diet needs to work for one person only and that’s YOU. If your meal looks like sh*t but tastes like gold and keeps you feeling satisfied through to your next meal, you’re 100% more likely to stick to the plan rather than if your meal looks bloody good but tastes like sh*t 💩.

Food is for fuel and enjoyment not for Instagram and likes.

These memories popped up today and I just wanted to share some thoughts! Losing weight is such a wild ride! 😂

This is a throwback to my first comp day when I thought I was too fat to hit the stage and would look stupid. Spoiler alert: I was the only one looking silly for those thoughts!

I prepped on a whim about 16 weeks out, and yeah, I had my ups and downs. Stress was high, and I was constantly comparing myself to others who seemed so much further along.

It’s crazy how our minds work! Even when the proof of progress is right in front of us—measurements, photos, clothes fitting differently—we can still think, ‘It’s not enough.’

So here’s the reminder: take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come! Your mind is powerful, and negative self-talk can lead to unhealthy habits.

Just aim to be 1% better every day—that’s more than enough! Your journey is yours alone. Don’t compare your chapter to anyone else’s. 💪✨
