🌟 Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) are providing an opportunity to strengthen our community's ability to support those in crisis.
👉 They’re offering free access to QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Su***de Prevention Training - a simple yet effective online course that can be completed in just 1-2 hours. Think of it as CPR for mental health - because knowing what to say in a tough moment can save a life.
WHY IT MATTERS
Many of us cross paths with people who may be at risk of su***de without knowing it. QPR shows you how to recognise the warning signs, ask the right questions, and guide someone toward help.
This training is suitable for anyone but especially valuable for anyone in regular contact with the public - community workers, frontline staff, educators, volunteers, and community members. Everyone has a role to play in su***de prevention. By increasing the number of people trained in the community we can build a local safety net.
