Move to Live - Exercise Physiology I am beyond excited to help you and the ones you care about to move better and look forward to meeting you soon. Meredith

Helping people of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities to move more easily and live joyful lives!
*Improve mobility and movement
*Maintain function and independence
*Prevent and manage chronic disease At Move to Live - Exercise Physiology we help people with chronic conditions, diseases, injuries or people who might be at risk of these, to move their bodies and live joyful lives! These conditions

can include diabetes, high blood pressure, back pain, arthritis, pre/post surgery, injury recovery, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, mental health concerns, Parkinson's Disease and many more. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, I love helping my clients to develop a positive relationship with movement and their bodies, while helping them to achieve their movement goals and manage their conditions. My clinic is weight-neutral and I work in the Health At Every Size (HAES) paradigm of providing people of all shapes and sizes with healthcare tailored to them and their movement issues. We do not just look at someone's size and blame all of their issues on this one thing, but instead help them with what is truly impacting their life and health with a lens of kindness and compassion. I aim to create a safe space where people can come to move their bodies without fear of judgement, will be truly listened to and their issues will be taken seriously. We don't do diet talk here ... we just focus on helping you move better.
Please feel free to have a squiz at my page, pop down to Port Noarlunga South and see the clinic or to give me a call on 0419 945 436 to chat.

Sometimes what we all need is just a sticker, some external validation, and a little treat! 🖤

Getting ourselves started with movement or back into a routine can be really tricky, and coming regularly to the clinic for us to help facilitate that might not always be accessible.

Luckily, we can always make adorable rewards chats with cute monsters on them to help! We loved making this for our client to help them get back into their movement routine after an illness hiatus. They picked the design and the structure so it was tailored for them.

Now all that's left to do is get that dopamine hit from ticking off movement breaks and collect their reward! 🖤

[Image Description: A pale hand holds up a piece of paper in front of a white brick wall with a green swirl on it. The paper says 'My Movement Rewards' with lots of tick boxes underneath. One of the things to tick off is 'Stupid Little Mental Health Walk'. The paper also has adorable monsters on it.]

At Move to Live we strive to make sustainable and environmentally-friendly choices both on the little and the big ticket items. After all, what good is moving your body if there isn't a planet to move around on? 🌱

We undertake practices such as buying recycled paper, having a green bin for all our scraps and shredding, buying equipment and decor second hand or off buy nothing groups, and utilising laminated client intake forms and then scanning them and wiping them clean to reduce our impact on the environment.

We also prioritise buying sustainable and planet-friendly brands such as Who Gives A Crap toilet paper and tissues, Nood Australia hand sanitiser, TABOO period products for our clients and staff, Powershop Australia for our energy needs, and Bank Australia for all our banking.

We are proud to be lessening our footprint on the environment and look forward to continuing to find new ways support the planet while we support our community. 💚🌱💚

This was today's equipment!
We have been helping a lovely client of ours to get more movement, strength, and dexterity in their right hand ... and today we used this blast from the past! Pulling the connector textas apart and putting them back together in all the annoying ways that Meredith could think of was the order of the day. 😂
Moving your body and getting amazing outcomes doesn't always need the fancy equipment. Don't get us wrong ... we really love our fancy equipment, but sometimes it is as simple as using the things you have lying around in a different way.
Thinking outside the box to help our clients to move their bodies easier is one of the favourite parts of the job ... and if we can do some colouring at the same time then that is a bonus!

Over the weekend, Meredith was able to attend the 2025 International Weight Stigma Conference in the Gold Coast. At the conference, Meredith learnt about new exciting research and health programs in size inclusive practice from all over the world, and got to connect with many like-minded people. Move to Live is a proud sponsor of this, and the inaugural Fat Joy Festival, which was also held over the weekend in Queensland.

Move to Live is proudly size inclusive and thrives on creating safe and accessible healthcare for every person. ❤️

[Video description: A video of each of our Exercise Physiologists sharing one tip on how to move our bodies through the winter months.
- Ash explains that we need to make sure we warm up and cool down our bodies before and after exercise to reduce the risk of injury.
- Ira then explains that it can be hard to leave the coziness of your home, so he suggests finding ways to exercise in your home instead of going outdoors.
- Caitlin mentions the importance of staying hydrated during the winter months particularly when its wet and cold outside and we don't feel as thirsty.
- Meredith encourages moving in safe areas especially considering how dark the afternoons get during winter. She suggests moving your body indoors or at another indoor area where you can be safe.
- Jaz finialises the video by suggested that it is okay to listen to your body, even if that means doing less movement during the winter months.]
