Being in a men’s group - Who benefits? You may be surprised!
In this short video, men from the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston talk about dealing with life's challenges, and growing as people … as members of various local men’s groups.
With the assistance of Frankston City Council and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, this video was made in support of Men's Health Week 2025 (MHW 2025), and the various local men's support initiatives underway locally. It includes discussing who benefits from having men involved in groups like these.
It was first screened as an introduction to Matt Brown's powerful presentation at the Frankston Arts Centre on 11 June 2025. The filmmaker is Damian Lindon, Director and Producer at Peninsula Films .

The video explores the significant challenges men face regarding their mental and emotional health, highlighting alarming statistics on anxiety, depression, and su***de rates.
