We are so proud to have attended the Business Excellence Awards on Saturday night as a finalist in the Not-for-Profit & Community Category!

We were recognised alongside some incredible organisations: Ability Enterprises, Momentum Mental Health, Tony's Community Kitchen, and Hope Horizons Inc, each doing such meaningful work across our region.

It’s a truly special category to be part of, because no matter who takes home the award, you know the community wins. Every organisation here is creating positive impact in Toowoomba in their own way.

A huge congratulations to this year’s winner, Tony's Community Kitchen, who do phenomenal work providing meals and support to people facing disadvantage. Their compassion and commitment make a real difference every single day. 👏

The rain didn't stop us on Friday, the team headed to Brisbane for a Social Enterprise Tour coordinated by Impact Boom and Business For Good Network .

- Witton Barracks

We heard from a wide array of incredible speakers - Tom Allen - Impact Boom, Richard Warner - Nundah Community Enterprises Cooperative, Tony Sharp - Substation33, Sarai Tuuga - yourtown, Ian Frame - YET, Emma-Kate Rose & Robert Pekin - Food Connect Shed, Amanda Shepherd - , Annette Gillespie - , Magnus Murray-Douglass - Boe Design, Luke Terry - White Box Enterprises & Peter Collins - Cleanable
