We often overlook things we are doing day to day that heighten our menopause symptoms

Many women in midlife are doing “all the right things” but still struggling with fatigue, mood swings, weight gain, joint pain, or poor sleep.

What’s often missed?

The daily habits and underlying imbalances that quietly make symptoms worse:
👉 Processed foods and sugar – Spike blood sugar, worsen cravings, and increase inflammation.
👉 Gut imbalances – Your microbiome helps detox and regulate estrogen. When it’s off, estrogen symptoms can skyrocket.
👉 Nutrient gaps – Magnesium, Vitamin D, Iron and more are critical for energy, mood, bone health, and hormone production.

Sometimes we need something blunt and honest. This one from my pal hits uncomfortable truths.

There will always be people who push back and tough love blunt messages. Everything needs to be flowers and sunshine neatly packaged. But that doesn’t always deal with the inconvenient truth.

There is a big relationship between how we feel and our lifestyle behaviors. There’s a massive relationship between our lifestyle behaviors and the likelihood of long term positive or negative outcomes. The prevention and healing or the damage starts with choices today. And sugar coating the messaging all the time is doing a substantial disservice.

If you’re still someone who thinks eating healthy and working out must feel miserable, take a hard look at the misery created by years of poor lifestyle choices. Which misery would you choose for yourself? Meanwhile notice how not miserable most active people are. Maybe there’s something to that and it’s really just a narrative keeping you from doing things for your own physical and mental health.
