For the first time this Monday our 9:15 and 10:05 classes have been swapped for more of a mindfulness start to your week.

Jamie will be in the studio in place of our trainers to calm your nervous system and give beck to you before the week begins.

So you can leave your training shoes at home and come in to a more relaxed studio Monday at 9:15 ✨

Can I just say… I am constantly in awe of the superwomen in our studio?! 🤩

Watching you balance raising families while still showing up for yourselves is honestly the most inspiring thing ever 😍

Between the school runs, the sleepless nights, and the million little things on your to-do list, you still find time to move, sweat, and do something just for YOU.

And let me tell you, that is powerful stuff! 💪✨

It’s the ultimate reminder that filling your own cup isn’t selfish, it’s actually necessary.

Because when you feel stronger, happier, and more energised, that good energy flows to everyone around you (even the tiny humans!).

To all the mums showing us daily what resilience and love look like: you’re not just training your body, you’re inspiring us all.

This is your friendly reminder… that we are all capable of more than we think…👊

Over the years, I’ve been physically lucky enough to take on a range of different events that have pushed me outside my comfort zone—physically and mentally.

Some felt manageable… others definitely tested me.

These ones here are probably the ones that mostly stand out as they demanded that extra push to the finish lines…

The moments where you’re completely spent, your body is screaming “stop”… but your mind steps in and says “hell no - not today.”

That’s the space where growth happens.

That’s where you find out what your mindset and your body is really made of.

And honestly… it’s never too late to start!

Set a goal.

Show up— even when it’s a hassle, when it’s not convenient.

Stay consistent. Do the work.

It won’t always feel perfect (you’ll have days that suck and some that are awesome), but it will always be worth it 🙌🏼

Because achieving something through effort and discipline? That feeling is hard to beat.

I’d love to know - what’s something you’ve done that you’re really proud of?

Let’s talk about the "B" word... Budget! 😅

I totally get it. With the cost of living doing its thing right now, it is so tempting to stop prioritising your training. When expenses go up, our own self-care is usually the very first thing we cross off the list.

But I want to challenge you to think about your workouts a little differently. They aren't just an expense; they are a direct investment in your sanity! 😜

Scientifically speaking, regular exercise is an absolute powerhouse for your mental health. Showing up and moving your body actively lowers your cortisol (that pesky stress hormone) and helps clear the heavy mental load we all carry around daily.

It is the hour of your day where you get to switch off, focus purely on you, and walk out feeling like you actually have your life together. Protecting your mental wellbeing and keeping your stress levels in check is completely priceless! 💕

Why jumping matters (especially for women as we age):

As we get older, we naturally lose bone density and power — increasing the risk of Osteoporosis and falls.

Jumping and impact movements help keep bones strong, improve balance, and train quick reactions — all key for staying active and independent.

This is especially important for women, as the risk of conditions like Osteoporosis increases after menopause.

Impact movements like jumping help stimulate bone growth, making bones stronger and more resilient.

And it’s not about doing big box jumps — even small hops or low-impact movements count.

Jumping improves:
*Power and reaction time (helping prevent falls)
*Balance and coordination
*Joint strength and stability
*Confidence in moving quickly and safely

In real life, we need to react fast — whether it’s catching yourself from a trip, stepping off a curb, or chasing after kids or grandkids.

….If you don’t train power, you lose it! 😢

Check out these superstar ladies Therese (66) and Rach (55) owning these step jumps like bosses! So good!

Even this simple movement can be really scary & overwhelming for lots of people but it should just be an essential movement for us all ✅
