I’m always learning- it’s one of the parts of my work I love most.

Over the years, I’ve completed a range of professional development training and courses that reflect where my curiosity and passion lie right now.

These topics shape how I support my clients and deepen my understanding of the connections between mind, body, and health.

Right now, I'm watching a webinar on 'Clinical Pearls for Constipation Beyond Guidelines' from The Rome Foundation. In a few weeks, the final unit in my Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health starts, which I'm really looking forward to!

Sometimes technology can be a little tricky, so here’s a quick reminder if you’re booking online:

Once your booking is complete, you’ll receive both an email and a text message confirming your appointment.

If these don’t come through within an hour, please check your junk folder just in case.
This is important because if you are seeing me for the first time, your confirmation email contains your intake form and consent to treatment which needs to be filled in before your appointment.

Having a moment this afternoon thinking about all of the conversations that have been had within this room, and what a privilege and an honour it is to bear witness to what it means to be human.

Yesterday was R U OK? Day, and while I’m a day late, it’s been sitting with me.

As a naturopath and remedial massage therapist, I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to lay bare your vulnerability on the table/in this room/online.

When I ask 'How are you?' or 'Are you ok?'- I do genuinely want to know the answer (if it's something that you have the capacity to share). And if you don't, that's ok too, because we can hold space in other ways that don't require talking.

Asking the question, today, and all of the days.

There are widespread reports that iHerb is no longer shipping melatonin to Australia. My understanding is that this is due to melatonin being a scheduled medicine and requiring a doctor's prescription ,and being unrelated to any tariff issues.

Many families have been advised by their paediatrician/GP/psychiatrist to order from iHerb so will be caught offguard by this change that has happened suddenly.

I hope you're able to get in with your care providers so that you can access a prescription to purchase this locally if you rely on it.

In my dispensary I have different options available to support sleep onset and maintenance which can be discussed for existing patients who may need an alternative.

Cocobella recall now updated to include more dates and flavours

Cocobella are updating their recall to include additional products and date markings. The products have been available for sale in Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers including IGA nationally and online.

Cocobella are conducting a recall of the above products. The products have been available for sale in Woolworths in NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, QLD, NT and online. The products have also been sold at independent retailers including IGA in QLD and VIC. The Cocobella Mango Coconut Yoghurt Pouch 110 g has been sold in Coles in NSW and VIC.
