What an incredible weekend at our Pain Train Gastronomy Long Lunch! 🚂

A huge thank you to everyone involved, and who joined us to support Dunga Derby by Rally for a Cause on Sunday! We are so proud to share we raised over $20,000 for our car #31, The Pain Train!

The day was jam packed with fun and generosity, from raffles and coin tossing, to hole-in-one challenges and a horse race bigger than the Melbourne Cup. We can't forget the amazing food, put together with the support from Low'n'Slow BBQ Shack 🍽️ 🔥

We are so grateful to be part of a community, that shows up, gets involved and has helped make a huge difference. Your support means everything!

🫙 Fine Jar Friday Fun ✨

Friday we managed to get (nearly) the whole team together for an enjoyable afternoon together. With some changes in our team, and some special new additions it was fantastic to take our water cooler chats, to the still! Thank you The Spirit Collective for hosting us, and teaching us all about their processes and products. An epic afternoon of tastings and getting to know one another. 🤐 No telling what constitutes a contribution to the fine jar!

It's with deep appreciation, and equally deep sadness that we wish Claude & Twisha the absolute best of luck with their next adventures.

Twish has been with us for just over 12 months, but has made a huge impact to our clinic with her expertise and willingness to share her knowledge. I am sure you can all agree with me that she has had a significant impression on all of you that she worked with, including the kiddies!

Claude joined us merely 6 years ago after making the brave move from Melbourne. He fell quickly into the rhythm of Hervey Bay life, and over those years we have seen him develop into the most impressive practitioner, and person. We wish Claude the best of luck with his move to Melbourne, but know that he won't be a stranger around the clinic in the years to come!

Bay Osteopathy & Injury Rehabilitation is a well-established, multidisciplinary allied health care clinic providing high-quality, patient-centred care. We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and reliable Receptionist to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment, has attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

About the Role
➡️ Greeting and welcoming patients

➡️ Answering phone and email enquiries

➡️ Processing payments, including HICAPs payments

➡️ Making and managing appointments

➡️ General administrative support for practitioners

➡️ Maintaining a welcoming and professional clinic environment

About You
✅ Previous medical administration/reception experience is essential

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

✅ Confident with computers and practice management software

✅ Friendly, calm, and professional manner with patients

Position Details:
Part-time position, approximately 26 hours per week

Hours may be spread across weekdays (flexibility preferred)

Roxy is available on Tuesday's and Thursday's in the clinic. While she is passionate about working with pregnant women, Roxy loves most making people move free-er and working through tension.

When Roxy is not at work, you will find her supporting the Brisbane Lions (AFL 🦁) , and showing her skills for the Hervey Bay Bombers Women's Seniors Team. ❤️⚫
