The Personal Peace Procedure in EFT Tapping

The Personal Peace Procedure offers a structured approach to clear emotional disruptions from your past and make peace with what happened. It was created by EFT developer Gary Craig and is considered an essential application of Tapping. Similar to other kinds of “30 Day Challenge” and “90 Day Challenge” processes, this is a way to schedule your tapping – a little each day – for a large effect over time.

By consistently applying this method, you can release layers of emotional intensity over time. It works because of the Generalisation Effect, where addressing one event can reduce the emotional intensity of other similar or related events.

1. Make a list of every specific event from your life that still feels unresolved or emotionally charged.
2. For each event, rate the intensity on a scale of 0-10. Choose a manageable starting point.
3. Circle the ones you don’t think would be safe for you to work on without a practitioner. This includes anything that might come under the heading of major trauma. You won’t include these in your self-tapping, so this way you know to avoid them.
4. Begin the EFT tapping process on each non-circled event, using the Tell the Story Technique or another EFT method to tap on all the emotional aspects of the event. As you tap, reassess the intensity after each round. When the emotional intensity drops to zero, cross the event off your list and move on to the next.
5. Every few events, check your progress. You’ll likely notice that other events on your list feel less intense even before you’ve tapped on them directly—this is the Generalisation Effect in action.

If you clear one event per day for 6 months you will have resolved 180 events! The ultimate goal is to feel lighter, more at peace, and less weighed down by your past.

For those who may be dealing with particularly traumatic or long-term abuse memories, it is always recommended to see a trained EFT practitioner. This process should be empowering, not overwhelming. 💗

Every day is a new day. But some days are harder than others, and we often blame ourselves or others for that, and sometimes we stay in a bad mood for the whole day!
But you deserve better than that!
Try, when you go to bed tonight, to think about anything good from your day, and the things you did achieve. Think about how you would like tomorrow to turn out. Ex. I will do my best not to get upset with my teenager, husband, colleague or boss, and I will stay focused on what is good, because I deserve the best. I do not have to let others interfere with my good mood, and it is none of my business what they think or do. I can only control how I react. I deserve to be happy.
Tomorrow morning, before you get up, tell yourself:
"I will not overwhelm myself with chores, I can only do one thing at the time".
"I will focus on what is good", - anything and everything, from your soft pillow to your kids, house, job, friends - whatever you are grateful for.
Remind yourself what you had in mind for today.
Whenever you have done one thing, give yourself a pad on the shoulder, and say "well done!" - or have a little victory dance :o) We often forget to acknowledge ourselves for things that worked out.
When you feel angry, sad or stressed, try to put on a feel-good, high-vibe tune - and shake it out for a minute or 2, laugh, and acknowledge yourself for getting out of the low vibration. You can do it!!
You deserve better than to waste any day feeling low. Life is too short for bs.

We are all about the students this week!

This trial is by the wonderful Dr Amy Gaesser - The objective of this pilot study was to compare the efficacy of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with that of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in reducing adolescent anxiety.

63 high-ability students in grades 6–12, ages 10–18 years, who scored in the moderate to high ranges for anxiety on the Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale-2 (RCMAS-2) were randomly assigned to CBT (n = 21), EFT (n = 21), or waitlist control (n = 21) intervention groups.

Students assigned to the CBT or EFT treatment groups received 3 individual sessions of the identified protocols from trained graduate counseling, psychology, or social work students enrolled at a large northeastern research university.

EFT participants (n = 20; M = 52.16, SD = 9.23) showed significant reduction in anxiety levels compared with the waitlist control group (n = 21; M = 57.93, SD = 6.02) (p = 0.005, d = 0.74, 95% CI [−9.76, −1.77]) with a moderate to large effect size.

CBT participants (n = 21; M = 54.82, SD = 5.81) showed reduction in anxiety but did not differ significantly from the EFT (p = 0.18, d = 0.34; 95% CI [−6.61, 1.30]) or control (p = 0.12, d = 0.53, 95% CI [−7.06, .84]). So EFT achieved the same outcome 🥰

They concluded EFT is an efficacious intervention to significantly reduce anxiety for high-ability adolescents. 🎊

I wish I had known this when I had day first child 21 yrs ago.🙂 Do you know anyone pregnant, that could benefit from this information?Have a great day🙏♥️

The Effects of Emotional Freedom Techniques Implemented During Early Pregnancy on Nausea-Vomiting Severity and Anxiety: A Randomized Controlled Trial

131 pregnant women in the experimental and control groups between 6 and 16 weeks of pregnancy attending an antenatal clinic in Turkey. Participants were randomly assigned to receive training on EFT or a control group

EFT group received a session of EFT at each visit and completed two EFT sessions as home assignments, 2 and 4 days after the first visit.

The participants in the control group attended two visits a week apart and completed assessments but did not receive EFT.

55 women in each group completed the study.

EFT significantly reduced anxiety levels from the baseline to the second session (fear of delivery, worries about bearing a handicapped child, concern about one's own appearance) and total pregnancy-related anxiety (total pretest 29.85 ± 9.87, post-test 20.67 ± 8.38; p < 0.001),

While the control group showed no reduction in pregnancy-related anxiety (total pretest 26.1 ± 7.79, post-test 25.98 ± 8.49; p = 0.933).

Although nausea-vomiting was reduced in both groups over the two-session period, at the end of treatment, the EFT group had significantly lower nausea intensity (EFT group 4.4 ± 1.81, control group 5.36 ± 2.48; p = 0.02).

Goodmorning 🌞 We all want to make the best of our day, but some days our thoughts can keep circling back to a problem, a worry or a pain, that you can't do anything about in this moment. But when you think about it, you feel stressed, worried or frustrated! Don't let that ruin your day. Put that worry in a box for now, and focus on this moment. Give me 5 minutes, and you will feel better♥️

Sometimes we can stop and focus on something nice, or think of someone we love, - and we smile. We actually feel better in our bodies in that moment.
But sometimes it can be hard to find something to smile about.
But then we can tap. Please go to wholehealthtapping.com for more information.
