NSW holidays just started. QLD mummas, how did you survive?!” 🌀
School holidays can feel like a marathon you didn’t sign up for. Busy kids, big emotions, indecisiveness, and those waves of inner stress that ripple through the whole family.
Today, I felt it.
Even as a coach and therapist - with all the tools and strategies at my fingertips - I’m still human. The burnout bubbled up.
So, we went to the beach.
The ocean held us, grounded us. I planted my feet in the sand, breathed deeply, and tried to be present. And then… the most spectacular show: whales breaching on the horizon. 🐋 A reminder of strength, presence, and the beauty that surfaces when we pause long enough to receive it.
Here’s the truth: coaches and therapists get burnt out too. And one of my lifelines is working with the elements - earth, water, fire, and air - to realign, soften, and return to myself.
So to every burnt out Mumma - know this:
💖 You are heard.
💖 You are worthy of rest.
💖 You deserve to recharge.
Even the tiniest pause - like grounding your feet in the earth or watching the waves roll in - can shift everything.
