THIS! The trailer is finally here! This is so so important for ALL women and all families. Working personally with many women in birthing their babes I see bullying, fear, trauma and lies and even the women lucky enough to come out unscathed from this process, they to often had to fight to be heard or have their choices agreed to.
Share this far and wide and donate if you can because every single dollar counts.
Women need to know that they are not alone and things can be very very different!
So proud of these amazing women I call my friends for making such a powerful, real, important and much needed documentary.

Happy Easter everyone! I had a beautiful breakfast with my family followed by a day in front of the computer working on a uni assignment.......The assignment is about 2 women and their VBAC birth stories....so here I am... reminded of why the way we support women, the language we use and how safe they feel is so so important in the way they birth.

There are lot's of different positions you can be in the birth your baby - this is a great one!

The kneeling squat is a position that creates significantly more space in the pelvic opening, compared to being on your back. This makes the pushing stage easier for many women. Furthermore, woman can do this in all birth settings, even hospital beds.

"Just wanted to share this really sweet moment I had this morning.
Today was the first time I went out for breakfast alone with my 8 week old son, I had just received my breakfast and hot chocolate when Jaxon started crying wanting his b***y so of course I fed him, after a few minutes this older lady walked up to me, I was scared, thinking she was gonna tell me to put my b**b away, instead she starts cutting up my breakfast for me and said "what a good mama you are, we can't have your food getting cold can we".
I honestly could have cried😍😢 loveliest lady EVER!!"

In the last few days I have been told about 2 women who were advised to "give a top up" of formula until their milk comes in to keep the baby settled.
It is normal for babies to be unsettled before this happens and feeding regularly and on demand will help this process.
Watch this video for a great explanation.
