This morning we had a great session training the team at Miami One Dental in practical First Aid and CPR, tailored specifically for the dental industry. 🦷❤️

The session focused on real-life scenarios dental teams may face, including:

• Managing a critical incident in the waiting room
• Responding to a medical emergency in the dental chair
• Treating an unresponsive patient
• Understanding the difference between fainting vs a serious medical event
• Severe bleeding management
• Working together as an emergency response team
• Defibrillator use
• Choking and suction management
• And plenty more practical skills

The team were blown away by the realistic scenarios, acting and detail delivered by trainer Scott, making the training engaging, practical and memorable.

If you’d like tailored First Aid training for your dental practice, get in touch and book a session with us soon.

Thank you so much for the kind words and for having us! It was a pleasure to train all the GP's and such a dedicated group of healthcare professionals. We’re thrilled everyone found value in the session and had some fun along the way. Together, we’re helping make the community safer — one life-saving skill at a time. 👏

Even healthcare professionals benefit from brushing up on CPR, so we hosted a workshop for those in the medical industry eager to strengthen their emergency response skills.

Led by Scott Whimpey from First Aid Accident & Emergency, the hands-on session covered the latest CPR techniques, AED operation and critical incident response planning, with participants practising on both adult and infant manikins.

This comprehensive workshop ensured attendees left feeling confident and equipped to respond effectively in emergency situations, contributing to safer outcomes across our community.

And we had a lot of fun doing it. If you're yet to learn CPR, or would like a 'refresher', get in touch with the team at First Aid Accident & Emergency. You never know when your skills could save a life.

Our Story

Saving lives is the HEART of our organisation. First Aid Accident & Emergency - RTO 32508 are a 100% Australian Defibrillator and First Aid specialist.

Why we are so passionate about Defibs and CPR training? In 2015, one of our students had a massive heart attack and went into cardiac arrest in our CPR course, on the Gold Coast. We instantly jumped into action and started to resuscitate the student, performing CPR and using a newly installed HeartSine defibrillator- We are proud to report that we successfully resuscitated the student and he is now living a full life! After this life changing event, we became focused on training as many people as possible and getting more Defibrillators into the community.

We have now supplied over 1500 Defibrillators to Australian workplaces and sporting clubs, and were proud to be the official Defibrillator supplier for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and parkrun Australia.

We now train over 25,000 people every year and some of our students have passed their skills forward, resuscitated someone with the skills they learnt from us. Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate is one of these students- he resuscitated his wife successfully in 2017.
