For many years, I struggled to sit still, study, and focus for long periods😖. It wasn't easy, and I often found myself drifting away or losing concentration🙄. But over time, I discovered some techniques that helped me stay more focused. 🧐

I’ve learned to study in small chunks, about 30 minutes, followed by a quick 5-minute break. This way, I get more done and even find myself lost in the flow, sometimes studying for an hour without realising it. I’ve trained myself to be disciplined and reward my efforts with those short breaks.😌

The past four years have been a rollercoaster of emotions while completing my degree. I often felt the urge to go outside or do something fun, and I still do!🫣  If you’re reading this and think, “That’s me too,” know you’re not alone. What truly helped me was meditation, setting a clear intention at the start of each day, and adding a small to-do list of 3-5 things to complete to my agenda. It made me appreciate the stillness, the studying, and the joy of learning. Guess what, I was more productive and less frustrated! ☺️

It’s not that I lack interest, actually, I love learning, but my body has a natural need to move.💃 In Ayurveda, we have different personalities called Doshas, my dosha is towards Pitta and Vata energy 🌬️. Instead of fighting it, I now let that flow happen. I allow my energy to pass through, then focus when I can.

Before, I would get frustrated and judge myself, thinking I wasn’t good enough. But I’ve realised that understanding my own body takes time and I have to work with it, not against it… Everyone can find a routine that works best for them, helping to get the best results. 🥰

The first step is to learn patience. Because in the end, we all enjoy moments of calm and stillness, maybe reading that book you’ve always wanted to read. And that’s okay!

Enjoy small moments of stillness and silence;  your body, mind and soul need that more than you think, and you will feel recharged.

Reconnecting with my energy after my second private class of the day, and preparing for the last one. 🪷🙏🪷

It's truly inspiring to witness my students' growth, helping me become a better teacher as I support them in reaching their goals. Observation and meditation guide me to focus and recharge my own energy.

I cherish these days of deep connection with yoga, where I see the transformations in my students, filling my heart with joy and gratitude. 💗🙏💗

- Gratitude 🙏
- I’ve learned to be grateful for myself, my life, and my friends. From myself, I’ve realized that with patience, everything falls into place. I’m grateful for the support and guidance life offers me. And my friends and family—it's so important to appreciate those around us because they help us grow and feel loved. I'm thankful for everyone who has crossed my path, whether briefly or still walking alongside me.

- Acceptance 🌸
- I’ve learned to fully accept myself and embrace that things don't always go as planned. I’ve accepted that the universe always knows what's best. Once I started to let go, things began to fall into place, bringing a sense of balance to my life.

- Nourishment 🧘‍♀️
- I’ve learned that I can't always be a superwoman; I need to rest, slow down, and nourish my soul, body, and mind. I take brief breaks to make sure my cup is filled. I practice daily meditation, get a monthly massage, move my body, walk in nature, and take baths to unwind.
