Our body doesn't lie. Even on a rest day, mine was still running on stress.
End of a big week. Did our regular contrast session sauna, cold plunge, float. Wore the HRV strap the whole way through.
Post-sauna: RMSSD at 12. PNN50 at 3%. Heavily sympathetic dominant despite doing nothing all day.
Post-plunge: RMSSD up 37%. PNN50 tripled.
Post-float: DFA alpha 1 dropped from 1.76 to 1.46. Full parasympathetic shift.
