“After 2.5yrs of serious health issues, I’d put on a lot of weight and lost fitness, due to inactivity, medication and stress.
As of April this year, I decided to turn things around by consistently attending BOLT six times a week; adding additional cardio sessions, like long walks; and using MyFitness Pal to ensure a large calorie deficit.
I’m loving fitting back into my clothes, having more energy and noticing I’m stronger and fitter in BOLT sessions. The positive comments and compliments are really rewarding.
In 7 months, I have lost 16kg of Body Fat; and lost 14% Body Fat Percentage, finally achieving my goal of 20% Body Fat. By ensuring high levels of daily protein, I have maintained Skeletal Muscle Mass over 37kg.
