After 1,588 days, today marks my last official business day as Director of Engage Care Services.
What started as an idea — a belief that care could be done better — grew into something truly extraordinary.
Together we have delivered over 300,000 hours of compassion, care and support, supported more than 100 clients and families, and created employment for over 200 incredible people who chose to show up every day to make a difference.
ECS was never just about providing services. It was about standing beside people, doing the right thing, and building a culture where both clients and staff genuinely matter.
I could not be more proud of what we built from ideas, hopes and sheer determination.
To every staff member, client, family and supporter who has been part of this journey — thank you. You are the reason ECS became what it is today.
The future of ECS is bright, and I know the heart of this organisation will continue to shine through the people who carry it forward. ECS joining with Carers Link is an incredible next chapter and one I’m excited to see this collaboration take ECS in to the future
