We are excited to welcome Dr Chandelle Whitfield to Nova Health Co. Dr Whitfield and her family have recently relocated to Wagga Wagga. Dr Whitfield brings extensive experience in Sexual & Reproductive Health.

Taking new patients for appointments:

Cervical Screening
Medical Terminations / Abortions
Menopause
Sexual Health
Contraception
Early pregnancy (0-8 week initial screening, pathology and referral for dating scan)


Dr Whitfield has availability on Fridays and will extend hours in the coming weeks.

This makes me so happy. Thanks Charles Sturt University for funding this free program, City of Wagga for maintaining such a beautiful facilities for us to walk on and Rach at The Press, Wagga Wagga for giving our mums a welcoming spot for a great coffee after.

We were very fortunate to receive a community grant by the fab team to facilitate our Nova Mums & Bub’s Walk and Talk.

A program designed to provide social connection, a weekly outing and a safe space to land for new mothers. Today joined our group to see just how valuable it has been to the women of our region.

It is no secret that I have been a long time fan of Dr Pamela Douglas and her work with Neuroprotective Developmental care. Her concepts around early life care inform many of our family-centric practices at Nova Health Co. I feel privileged to have Dr Douglas visiting next week and we invite any healthcare professional working in early life care to come along to a free event that we are hosting.

BEYOND BIRTH: Feeding, Sleeping & Bringing your Baby Home.
next event is this Wednesday 13th September, 5pm.

We have alot of feedback that antenatally, there is lots of information and help on how to have the baby, however expecting parents would like to learn more about what to actually do when you bring your baby home.

Join Dr Trudi Beck and Midwife Amy Gow for a relaxed chat about what to expect when you bring babyhome, how to optimise breastfeeding and meet other families due around your due date.

Beyond Birth is held 5-6.30pm on the second Wednesday of each month and should be attended in the month of EDD. Beyond Birth is free for all Nova Health Co shared care antenatal patients and their parenting partner. Patients who are not attending Nova Health Co are more than welcome to attend and can book online.

We are growing and looking for an all rounder to join our admin team. This is a support role to our senior admin team.

We can confirm that this role does involve cuddling lots of babies 👶🏼.

Role would ideally commence in October / November but would absolutely consider school leavers and students.
