🛏️ We’re sleeping out so others don’t have to!

On Friday 29 August, the dream team, the Matt's and Amy will be swapping their comfy beds for a carboard box at the 2025 Vinnies Community Sleepout 💪

Why? To raise awareness (and funds!) for those doing it tough without a safe place to call home.

🌟 Welcome Amy – Our New NDIS Support Coordinator! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Amy Gartside to the Pearl Home Care Murrumbidgee team as our newest NDIS Support Coordinator!

Amy brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in the disability and community services sector, having worked in roles from support worker and integration aide to area manager. Her practical, down-to-earth approach, combined with diplomas in Disability Work and Business Management, means she understands both the challenges and the opportunities that come with navigating complex systems.

Passionate about person-centred care, Amy is committed to helping people live with independence, choice, and dignity. She’s also a strong advocate for inclusion, having worked on local government Access and Inclusion Working Groups to help create more welcoming communities for people of all abilities.

Now based in Wagga Wagga, Amy is excited to be part of a local team that puts people first. Her motto says it all:
“Their lives, my support.”

Welcome to Our New Space! 🏡

What a fantastic day we had yesterday celebrating the grand opening of our brand new Pearl Home Care Murrumbidgee office on Morgan Street!

We welcomed clients, participants, community organisations, providers, family and our incredible team to mark the occasion — complete with guest speakers, a ribbon cutting, and some seriously good egg and bacon muffins! 🥓🍳 Brekky Bro's

It was a day full of connection, laughter, and pride. Seeing everyone come together reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

We’re honestly so proud of our team and the goals we’re reaching together. From humble beginnings to a brand new space, this milestone means so much — and it’s just the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in the celebrations. We’re grinning from ear to ear and excited for what’s ahead. 💙

Today, our Care Partner Matt and Managing Director Matt had the pleasure of visiting the Wagga Mensshed.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share more about the aged care and disability services we provide across the Murrumbidgee, while also learning about the important role the Men’s Shed plays in supporting connection, purpose, and community for local men.

Thank You, Griffith Retirement Estate! 🌟

Last week, our Care Partner Matt and Managing Director Matt visited Griffith Retirement Estate to host a morning tea and information session.

They enjoyed a vibrant and friendly morning, sharing thoughtful discussions, answering insightful questions whilst getting to know the Griffith locals. It was a great opportunity to talk about the aged care supports we offer at Pearl Home Care Murrumbidgee, and navigating Home Care Packages and My Aged Care.
