🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of parkrun for Matt and Bethany! 🎉

Fun fact: Matt and Bethany both ran their very first parkrun on the same day, at the same event — Armidale parkrun back in 2015! They knew of each other then, but little did they know they’d one day be back on a start line together as a married couple. 🥰

Matt is one of our wonderful Wagga parkrun Run Directors, and together they’re both regular runners and volunteers in our community. Yesterday was an extra special milestone with Matt clocking his 200th run at Wagga!

In addition to running, Bethany has volunteered 59 times and Matt has volunteered 125 times! 👏

Thank you both for everything you bring to our Wagga parkrun community. Your dedication, enthusiasm and friendly faces make Saturday mornings brighter.

Congratulations on 10 years of parkrun! Here’s to many more finish lines together. 🧡
