We are proud of our strong relationship with the Australian Paramedical College (APC), providing students with valuable opportunities for clinical placement.

We have supported many students throughout their training journey, and it is especially rewarding to see several of our current staff members having completed their studies through APC and now working alongside us. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to high-quality education, practical experience, and the development of future paramedical professionals.

Wagga Wagga First Aid Training was founded by Rory McKenzie, a proud local with a long history of service, volunteering, and giving back to his community.

Rory’s experience isn’t just theoretical. He has served on the frontline with St John Ambulance (NSW) and NSW Ambulance and Australian Army Reserve as a Combat Medical Attendant. He continues to actively serve with Australian Red Cross Emergency Services, the State Emergency Service, and the NSW Rural Fire Service.

It is this real-world exposure where decisions matter and seconds count, that led to the creation of Wagga Wagga First Aid Training. Our courses are evidence-based, practical, and delivered with genuine passion, designed to inspire confidence and empower everyday people to step up and give someone a fighting chance of survival.

Rory has a strong passion for raising awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and continues to advocate for more defibrillators in our community. Having witnessed firsthand the life-saving impact of high-quality CPR and early defibrillation, especially in those critical first few minutes, he understands just how much the right training can change outcomes.

When it comes to your next first aid course, the choice is simple:

Learn from someone who’s only read the book — or learn from someone who’s been there when it really mattered.
