Welcome Dr Priya Dharshini Vadivel!!
Dr Priya is an experienced GP Obstetrician with a deep commitment to women’s health across all life stages.
Currently completing her Fellowship with ACRRM, focusing on Rural Generalism and women’s health. Dr Priya brings rich clinical experience from working in various hospitals and clinical practices across India, the United Arab Emirates, and regional Australia, including Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and Gundagai.
Her clinical expertise includes:
• Antenatal care with a focus on pregnancy and fetal well-being
• Postnatal care for mothers, baby checks, and infant immunisation up to 6 months
• Pre conception planning , Contraceptive counselling and procedures tailored to individual needs
• Women’s health and Menopause and perimenopause management, including pelvic floor and quality-of-life issues
• Collaborative care with allied health professionals
Dr Priya is passionate about empowering women and believes in holistic, patient-centered care and feels privileged to support women through the many transitions of life. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring with her previous role as Honorary Lecturer at Western Sydney Medical School.
Outside of medicine, she loves bushwalking, music, travelling, and spending time with her loved ones over a good chat and watching feel-good movies.
She is thrilled to be part of our team and looks forward to caring for women and families in our community.
