Bringing GP’s & Pharmacists together

A wonderful evening with our friends & was all about shared learning, collaboration, strengthening the way we care for women. From endometriosis and menopause to vaginal and vulval health, it was incredible to see such open discussion, knowledge-sharing, and mutual mentoring across professions.

Better connected care = better outcome and better access.

We are LIVE!!!! 🤍✨

We’ve poured our hearts and souls into creating this program for women across the Riverina, and we couldn’t be more proud to finally share it.

Over the past 8 weeks, our practitioners have completed intensive training in the treatment of endometriosis and pelvic pain — building something truly meaningful for our community.

Head over to , give us a follow, and come along for the journey… we have so much more to bring!

A huge shoutout to Dr Trudi Beck — our fearless leader and constant advocate for better access to care for women.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built (and if we’re honest… a little tired 😴😜). We’ve thrown everything into developing strong clinical guidelines, upskilling our team, and creating exceptional resources for this program.

We’d love to hear what you think — and we can’t wait to welcome you into our practice soon 🤍

Protect your baby from RSV before they arrive – A free RSV vaccine is available for eligible pregnant women under the National Immunisation Program.

The vaccine is recommended from 28 weeks of pregnancy and is available for free if you hold, or are eligible for, a Medicare card.

Vaccination during pregnancy is the safest way to help protect newborn babies against RSV and serious complications, reducing the risk of severe RSV disease in infants under 6 months of age by about 70%.

Talk to your GP, midwife or antenatal care provider to see if it is right for you.

🌡️ EXTREME HEAT WARNING – PATIENT UPDATE 🌡️

With severe heat forecast across our region this week, Nova Health Co is prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our vulnerable patient community.

If you have an upcoming appointment and would prefer to switch to Telehealth or reschedule to a cooler time of day, our team is more than happy to accommodate. Please just give us a call and we’ll organise the option that works best for you.

A special thank you to our antenatal patients for your understanding and co-operation — we have already rescheduled all Wednesday afternoon appointments to early Wednesday morning to help avoid unnecessary heat exposure.

Please stay hydrated, stay cool, and take care of yourselves. 💗

🌡️ Keeping baby cool in the heat 🌡️

Summer is well and truly upon us and many parents are concerned about how to keep baby cool. We have some great tips!

• Breastfeeding is amazing – your milk will adapt to quench baby’s thirst and keep them hydrated. Feeding frequently and flexibly will help to keep them well hydrated.
• For formula fed babies, you can use feeds frequently and flexibly also. They may need some smaller additional feeds on very hot days, just ensure you are only making the formula to the instructions on the tin – using more or less powder to water will unbalance the electrolytes and can cause serious issues with hydration and may even cause significant illness.
• Use the air conditioning to keep the room temperature to a comfortable 21-24 degrees if baby is in sleeveless or short-sleeve suits – keep very small babies out of the direct draft from the air conditioner though to prevent them getting too cold.
• Do not cover the pram or car seat with a blanket or wrap – studies show the internal temperature in a covered seat can reach 50 degrees very quickly on a hot day! Small clip on fans are also an affordable option to help cool baby on the go.
• When going to a hot car, using ice bricks to cool the seat before putting baby in. (remove before placing baby in seat!)

If you need anything, we’re here to help.
