What an incredible day at our Parkinson’s event!
A massive shoutout to the amazing Ann and the Parkinson’s Support Group for organising such a heartfelt and impactful gathering to raise funds for Parkinson’s NSW. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve already raised over $1,000 - and the final count is still coming in! 🙌🏻

Special thanks to Dr. Joe McGirr for joining us, speaking with residents and visitors, and helping wrap up the day with our raffle draw!

It was a truly inspiring event, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again. Together, we’re making a true difference 🩵

Scooter Shenanigans at Riverina Gums! 🛵😄

Life in the village is never dull—especially when scooters are involved!

Last month, our Village Manager had a bit of a mix-up. After a lovely lunch, one resident left in a flurry, shouting, “Someone stole my scooter!” Turns out, it hadn’t been stolen at all… just borrowed by mistake! Our Manager had taken the wrong one, and the mystery was solved with a good laugh and a few apologies.

Fast forward to today, and we’re happy to report that Paul, our ever-reliable Maintenance Supervisor, was spotted helping a resident with their scooter—the correct one, we might add! 😅

Just another day of community, care, and a few chuckles at Riverina Gums.
