The role involves delivering counselling and therapeutic support, undertaking psychological assessments, and developing and implementing recovery and treatment plans. The clinician will also provide clinical advice, participate in program development, and contribute to continuous improvement of mental health services.

We're Hiring!📣

We are seeking to develop a casual pool of Family Workers to join our Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care Team) under the Casework Support Scheme (CSS).

In this vital role, you will:

✅ Provide supervised contact, supervised transport, mentoring and respite support to children and young people aged 0–17 in or at risk of entering out-of-home care.

✅ Build positive, culturally safe relationships with children, families, and carers.

✅ Ensure the safety, wellbeing and connection of children to family, culture, and community.

✅ Maintain clear, objective records and reports of all engagements.

✅ Work collaboratively with RivMed staff, government and community partners.

Note: We will be interviewing as applications are received until we have built up a pool of suitable casual Family Workers.
