Meet Jess! One of our wonderful RAW Coordinators for 2023✨

Hi, I am Jess!
Having grown up on a farm in rural NSW, I love the beautiful surroundings and the sense of belonging that comes from living in small, tight knit communities. There's a special connection in rural communities and it's amazing to be a part of.

I'm extremely passionate about rural healthcare and I want to share this passion with those looking at a potential career out in the bush. Having access to quality healthcare is a major problem in the communities I grew up in and I want to be a part of helping fix that problem!

I am looking forward to getting RAW back of it's feet and showcasing what this beautiful region of Australia has to offer!

My favourite Aussie snack is BBQ shapes

Hi, I am Larna!
I love being out on the country, you can’t beat some of the views out here - not to mention the community you build living rurally.

I joined RAW to be apart of the amazing opportunity to provide people with a rural experience! I also joined to work with an amazing team

I am most looking forward to meeting everyone - the participants and the sponsors involved in the events. I can’t wait to see all the amazing events planned unfold!

I’m indecisive on my favourite Aussie snack, so here’s my top 3: Tim tams (Gotta do a Tim tam slam), Jumpy’s, and mint slices (don’t come for me)

Hi, I am Saara!
What I love about rural living is the community. The ~vibes~ in rural towns is super comforting and very unique, everyone seems to know and get around each other :)

I joined RAW as someone who hadn't experienced rural living until 2 years ago. I have come to love it (!!) so I wanted to help others come see what it’s all about too.

I can't wait to meet like-minded people keen about exploring and learning more about rural life, seeing Wagga and the surrounding areas through the same eyes I did not long ago! It won't disappoint.

I have many favourite Aussie snacks but recently pizza flavoured shapes have been hitting different.

Meet Jack! He's been organising an amazing Farm Day experience for RAW this year.

Hi, I am Jack. What I love most about rural living is the space, peace, and quiet. I joined RAW because I’m a big fan of the purpose of RAW, and thought it’d be awesome to be a part of making such an event happen. I am looking forward to watch people gain a better appreciation of rural life and its benefits.

My favourite Aussie snack is Weetbix - can be both a meal and a snack, really just perfect for any occasion.

Hi, I am Ian. I love the sense of community in rural living and the fact that somehow you can always find someone with something in common and something to do.

I joined RAW because I’ve always heard good things from attendees and wanted to see what it’s like on the other side + amazing shirts 🤩

I am looking forward to the amazing speakers and workshops!! I love hearing from people passionate about what they do and we have an amazing selection of speakers and activities lined up.

Growing up in country NSW I have always loved the sense of togetherness that exists in rural communities. I feel like rural communities are unique and special places in the world, and I couldn’t imagine living and working anywhere else. Rural areas are incredible.
I’m really looking forward to the farm experience day, so everyone can have a go at some fun farm activities.

Growing up rural I’ve always loved the sense of community and the random interesting people you always meet around 🤠 I’ve never been in a situation where there hasn’t been a warm and friendly face offering a hand - I am super keen for the awesome practical workshops run by local health personnel and the rowdy bunch of students helping organise the festivities 🥳
