We are so fortunate to have such beautiful National Parks at our doorstep. A Sunday morning stroll in Livingstone National Park, only a 15 minute drive from Wagga Waga, was a perfect weekend activity. The best company — Family and nature. 🏞️

We are fortunate to see so many thoughtful patients in our daily practice, and Kay is no exception.

Recently she visited with these beautiful knitted dolls to replenish our soft toy collection for our prize room.

A recent holiday to England via Dubai, was a wonderful opportunity to take a break from the routine of everyday life, and add to the bank of life long memories.

Photographs never do justice to simply being in vacation mode, enjoying stunning vistas, spending time with good friends who live on the other side of the world, and of course holiday treats.

We are so fortunate to have consistently reliable tradies to keep our surgery functioning smoothly, day in and day out.

Macca and Pat from GF Hand & Sons were no exception, hard at work replacing a leaking tap for us. We highly recommend Marcus Hand and his team for all your plumbing needs.

Many of our patients travel over 2 hours to see us — and we never take that for granted.

In today’s fast-paced world, time is one of the most precious things we have. So when families choose to spend hours on the road just to see us, we feel incredibly honoured and grateful.

We recently received this beautiful feedback from a mum in Griffith after bringing her son in for his recall appointment — and not once did she mention the long drive:

“I must tell you, that my son loves coming to see you – as we were driving home today, he said ‘I like Dr Mary Anne.’ His experience with you has been so pleasant for him, he is relaxed and I can see that he trusts you, which is really comforting… he was beyond anxious when visiting the dentist … so big Thanks for making him feel at ease!!”

To all our patients who travel near and far: thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and your time. We’re always thrilled to see you — and we wish you safe travels every time.

According to recent data from the Australian Dental Association and the AIHW, potentially preventable dental hospitalisations for Australians aged 65+ jumped from 10,495 in 2016–17 to 15,959 in 2022–23.

That’s a sharp rise — and it’s expected to keep climbing.
At the current rate, the ADA projects hospitalisations could reach 22,630 by 2027–28. That’s a 42% increase in just five years.

This is exactly why maintaining regular dental care — especially as we age — is so important. Let’s keep our local seniors out of hospital and smiling strong.

Have questions about oral health as you get older? We’re here to help.

A few weeks back, our first patient of the day (and week!) had to reschedule — so we seized the opportunity to take a mini team break and check out a local spot that came highly recommended by one of our coffee-loving patients.

Yody Café, owned by the talented Russell, did not disappoint.

The coffee? Smooth and rich.
The muffins? Baked fresh in-house with real vanilla bean — yes, we noticed. And yes, we’ll be back.

A delicious way to kickstart the week and support a fantastic local business.

This National Volunteers Week, we want to shine a light on the incredible volunteers in our local community.

From hospital wards to school canteens, sporting clubs to community kitchens — you are the quiet heroes who keep everything running with heart, kindness, and a whole lot of dedication.

At the practice, we often hear your stories in the chair — giving your time to help others, asking nothing in return. It’s inspiring, and it reminds us how lucky we are to live and work in a region where people genuinely show up for each other.

To every local volunteer: thank you.
Your impact is immeasurable, and your efforts don’t go unnoticed.

Wagga dentist, who treats you like family!

"I think the key difference to our dental practice is how we care for our patients. We listen to our patients, we treat them like people, like valued clients, like friends and family, because it is the patients that are the heart of our dental practice.

We're a dentist that will listen to what is important to you, your concerns about your mouth and how we can help you now. We can also help advise what the future holds for your dental care.

We talk in a language that you understand, and we don’t use long technical dental terms just to impress. Patients rarely need or want long, expensive, complex treatment plans. Going to a dentist in Wagga shouldn't be that hard. We want you to feel welcome and safe, and know that your priorities will always be our main focus."
