Checking in, listening without judgment, and reassuring them you are there for them can make a big difference.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the 2026 theme, Give To Gain — a reminder that when we share our time, our knowledge, our compassion and our support, we create more opportunities for women everywhere.

Recoverwise is built by women, led by women, and strengthened by the incredible women we support daily. Their courage inspires us, their growth motivates us, and their stories remind us why this work matters.

Here’s to women everywhere — the ones leading, learning, rebuilding, creating, caring, and rising. Today we honour the collective strength of women and the power of communities that choose to lift each other up 👸🏼👸🏻👸🏽👸🏾👸🏿

Today marks Madi’s last day with Recoverwise. Since joining us in August, she has become such an important part of our team and the wider community. Her kindness, consistency, and commitment to participants has been felt by so many, and she will be very missed.

Madi has made the decision to move back home to Newcastle — a choice we fully understand and support. We’re grateful for everything she has contributed during her time with us.

We wish Madi all the best with her future endeavours 💜
