This amazing lady first discovered Pilates with us at the boat club sunrise sessions, followed us to Nova and then to our brand new studio at the Kooringal Mall. She has made our classes a non-negotiable, even attending with a broken wrist (modified so she could still participate). So proud of you Kathy!!
We asked her a few questions upon reaching her milestone:
❓What made you begin Pilates in the first place?
I initially started Pilates because I was curious to try something new. I had lower back pain and thought an exercise program like Pilates would help.
❓How has Pilates helped you in your everyday life?
Pilates has helped me feel stronger, especially around my core, which has made a big difference in supporting my lower back. Everyday movements-like bending, lifting, or even sitting for long periods-feel easier and more controlled.
❓What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying Pilates but isn't sure if Propel Body is the right fit?
Just give it a go. Alisha is so knowledgeable and supportive, and she meets you where you’re at. It’s not about being perfect-it’s about progress. Propel Body creates the perfect environment for that.
❓What do you enjoy most about coming to your Pilates classes?
I really enjoy the friendliness of everyone in the class. The atmosphere is always positive, and Alisha creates a space where everyone feels welcome and supported. She gives personal attention to each person and really takes the time to get to know her clients. I appreciate how she offers modifications so that everyone can participate in a way that suits their body and needs.
