We're back in the studio!!!

Our new timetable with more classes and options during the day and earlier in the afternoon is beginning this Monday. We have had a few spots open up on previously booked out classes this week so if you were hoping to get back into Pilates, want some extra classes this week or you are new and wanting to try it out - Monday is the day!!

This amazing lady first discovered Pilates with us at the boat club sunrise sessions, followed us to Nova and then to our brand new studio at the Kooringal Mall. She has made our classes a non-negotiable, even attending with a broken wrist (modified so she could still participate). So proud of you Kathy!!

We asked her a few questions upon reaching her milestone:

❓What made you begin Pilates in the first place?

I initially started Pilates because I was curious to try something new. I had lower back pain and thought an exercise program like Pilates would help.

❓How has Pilates helped you in your everyday life?

Pilates has helped me feel stronger, especially around my core, which has made a big difference in supporting my lower back. Everyday movements-like bending, lifting, or even sitting for long periods-feel easier and more controlled.

❓What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying Pilates but isn't sure if Propel Body is the right fit?

Just give it a go. Alisha is so knowledgeable and supportive, and she meets you where you’re at. It’s not about being perfect-it’s about progress. Propel Body creates the perfect environment for that.

❓What do you enjoy most about coming to your Pilates classes?

I really enjoy the friendliness of everyone in the class. The atmosphere is always positive, and Alisha creates a space where everyone feels welcome and supported. She gives personal attention to each person and really takes the time to get to know her clients. I appreciate how she offers modifications so that everyone can participate in a way that suits their body and needs.

It’s no secret that Alisha likes alliteration 😉 so we thought we’d give the class names a glow up and keep with the theme.

Our new class names are………🥁

Studio Strong

Our signature class Previously mixed equipment. Love reformer but curious about our other equipment? This class has it all!!! 60 min class with plenty of mini breaks in between bursts of Pilates infused movements. This class is super fun and uses reformer, Pilates chair AND fuse ladder. We are the only studio in Wagga offering this popular combination for our clients.

Refined Reformer

Small reformer class 4:1 with maximum focus and attention given to all participants. This 50 min class is a full body workout designed to awaken all parts of the body, including those small, underused muscles. Each session includes a warm up and stretch.

Mindful Mat

Experience a joyful Pilates session that meets your body where it is, using fun small props to add a layer of challenge. Move in all directions with exercises designed to activate those often-overlooked muscles. Each session is fresh and exciting, with new moves every time while keeping some core basics to keep us grounded. We include mobility movements and end the class with some breathing and mindfulness. Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure personalised attention and a supportive environment. 50 mins

We’ve been counting down to this moment… and it’s finally arrived! Our much-anticipated new spring classes are now open, and the studio is buzzing with fresh energy. ✨

Even better - as of the 15th of September, Alisha is now officially in the studio full time 🎉, meaning more opportunities for you to move, strengthen, and recharge with her expert guidance.

This week marks the end of winter (and the end of Alisha juggling two jobs 🤞🏻). We are taking a little family holiday away from the studio for the next week and a half to take a little breather before launching into our Spring timetable on 12th September.

We have had a couple of spots become available this Friday and Sunday though if you’d like to get your Pilates movement in before our break. Life is full, between work, family, and all the hats you wear. We know it’s hard to fit it all in. Movement should be a non negotiable practice for our body and mind but it shouldn’t be tricky to access…..so we have some exciting news!!
