Tonight we have members on Site at Lake Albert for New Years Eve Celebrations. If you find your self needing any medical Assistance we are located just infront of all the Food Vans. Please remember in this heat to stay hydrated and apply sunscreen and bug spray will be your best friend tonight.

Last night we held our Annual Presentation evening followed by our Christmas Party. We had the privilege of having our Deputy Commissioner, our Zone and Hub Leaders, Deputy Commissioner for Youth and our Local Member Dr Joe Mcgirr to present some awards to our members. Wagga Division will be back at training from 23rd January 2025 if you have ever thought about joining come along to one of our training nights.

Are you looking to come to Carols by Candlelight Wagga Wagga hosted by SMRF tonight?? We have our members set up at the very back of the music bowl on hand to assist you if you find yourself injured or feeling unwell in this heat. Remember to bring plenty of cold water, sunscreen and bug spray with you. If you do need assistance come up to our friendly team and we will assist with your needs.

Are you looking to give back to your community??
Do you have some spare time your looking to fill??
Are you 12 years old or older ??
We are looking for both cadets 12-18 years old and Adult Volunteers to join our team. No experience is necessary we will provide all training all though a first aid certificate is preferred.
Come along to one of our training nights on a Thursday during school term at the Glenfield Park Community Center in Tanda Place between 630-730pm for Cadets and 730-9pm for Adults.

Next Tuesday 19th November the DriveAThon will be arriving in Wagga and will be set up at Bunnings Warehouse Australia from 10am till 2pm. Have a read below about what the DriveAThon is all about.

A ROADTRIP WITH A MISSION: Starting on Restart a Heart Day, St John Ambulance Australia launched a nine-week journey across the country to raise awareness and educate the community about CPR and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)⚡❤️‍🩹

During the course of this one-of-a-kind journey, we're aiming to train 5,000 Australians in CPR, while also delivering lifesaving AEDs to regional communities throughout the country, building community resilience through skills and lifesaving equipment in more than 30 locations.

Heading to Repco Australia's Bathurst 1000? Rest knowing St John responders will be there to keep you safe!

Between our mobile emergency response teams (not in V8's but on some pretty nifty bicycles 🚴‍♂️), a pop-up medical centre and two additional first aid posts - we'll have over 40 responders each day made up of Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, First Responders, and a Communciations Team onsite.

Remember to:

💊 Bring any regular medications
🩺 Seek out help from St John if unwell or injured
