Grand Pacific Health & Synergy Healthworks have teamed up to bring you 3 free events over women’s health week next week.

Speakers from a range of allied health professionals will bring you up-to-date & lived experience of women’s wellness through the life stages, with a large focus on menopause. Afternoon tea/supper & refreshments supplied.

🦶 Evan – based at our Tumut clinic
🦶 Jill – based at our Wagga Wagga clinic

What is Podiatry?

Meet Sam

Sam completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Albury.

Sam has an interest in treating a wide array of injuries across multiple sports whilst also enjoying neurological rehabilitation, in particular those with stroke & spinal cord injuries. Additionally, Sam enjoys treating patients to improve their quality of life in order to return to the things they love.

While at university Sam completed a Level One Sports Trainer course & has worked with amateur football teams. Sam has also up skilled in Level 1 & Level 2 Dry Needling, & Fascial Manipulation.

Outside of the clinic Sam enjoys going to the gym, playing & watching footy & training for triathlons.

Sam works out of our Wagga Wagga & Tumut Clinic’s, & at Calvary on the Orthopaedic Wards & Outpatients Rehabilitation.

Meet Lara

Lara grew up just outside of Wagga Wagga on a small farm, & has always loved the country lifestyle in the Riverina.

Lara completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of Canberra, this is where she has lived for the past four years. Lara’s passion for Physiotherapy came through playing sports from a young age, ranging from club sport to state level sport, gaining an interest in the rehabilitation process through personal injuries & wanting to help people through this process. Lara has strong interests in sporting injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, & neurological rehabilitation.

Lara loves to play sport including netball, tennis, touch football & enjoy snow skiing as well. Additionally, enjoys spending time with her family & friends, travelling & helping out on the family farm.

You’ll find Lara in our Wagga Wagga Clinic, Gundagai & in Calvary.

Meet Elton

Elton grew up in Melbourne & made the move to Wagga to join Synergy in 2024. Elton completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University. Elton has extensive clinical experience in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal & acute rehabilitation.

While at university, Elton completed his Level 1 sports trainer course & has been a sports trainer for the past 4 years at his local AFL club, treating & managing multiple sporting injuries. Elton has a strong interest in sporting injuries, musculoskeletal physiotherapy & rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Elton enjoys going to the gym, surfing & is a big AFL fan, with the hopes he can one day see his team Essendon win a final.

You’ll find Elton in our Wagga & Junee clinics, as well as up at Calvary & offsite at VISY & GMP.
