Strengthening Mental Health Support in Wagga Wagga

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming The Hon Emma McBride MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Su***de Prevention, and Michael McCormack MP to the Wagga Wagga Medicare Mental Health Centre.

Their visit highlights the importance of accessible, community-based mental health care for all Australians โ€” right here in the Riverina. Minister McBride and Mr McCormack toured our centre, met with staff, and heard firsthand from locals about the positive impact of expanded Medicare mental health services in our region.

๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’™ Menโ€™s Health Week may be over, but your mental health still matters ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿง

Menโ€™s Health Week was a powerful reminder of how important it is for men to prioritise their mental wellbeing not just for one week, but all year round.
Too often, men feel the pressure to stay silent or โ€œtough it outโ€ but the truth is, thereโ€™s real strength in reaching out.

At Wagga Wagga Medicare Mental Health Centre, we offer a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space for men of all ages to talk, be heard, and access professional mental health support.
Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or just not feeling quite yourself, you donโ€™t have to face it alone.
