Want to learn the art of coaching others without having to go through a whole year of coaching program?
By attending the Lifestyle Coaching Skills program you will be learning the principles in coaching, discover how Jesus exemplified coaching, learn the coaching conversation model with the motivational interviewing principles. Motivational interviewing is a great skill whether for coaching, mentoring or even in leading a group/team. Motivational interviewing utilises different sets of questions to ask individuals to help and empower them to build confidence, self-responsibility and guidance to finding their own solutions. It’s great workshop to attend without having to attend a coaching school or program. There is a certificate of attendance provided only to those who attend the whole program. Katia will be presenting it from the perspective of health and lifestyle but the skills are transferable across many facets of life circumstances and scenarios.
This is helpful for anyone who mentors individuals (leaders, ministers, mentors), who are health professionals working with patients/clients (doctors, nurses and those in allied health).

"Can addiction come in forms we don’t even realise—like control, approval, or even busyness?"
Addiction isn’t just about substances. It can show up in habits, thoughts, or patterns that hold us back from freedom and healing.

Today is RU OK day! But it doesn't have to be just today. It can be any day. In fact it needs to be that we look out for others around us. Recently we finished the mental health first aid training. We learnt the actions of below to help others who may be going through a mental health crisis or simply discouragement. It's ALGEE (not in any order):
A - Approach, Assess and Assist
L - Listen and communicate without judgment
G - Give support and information
E - Encourage the person to get professional help
E - Encourage other supports
Be the light for someone today. Even to ask if they are ok and that your door is always open. Be ready with information to help others. Join the next Mental Health First Aid training. Wellness in Action Saves Lives.
