Riverland Funerals would like to congratulate Steve and Bev Kleemann on their move toward retirement and thank them for their dedicated and compassionate service to the community for over 20 years. For over 110 years and four generations, the Kleemann family have been supporting Waikerie locals in their times of loss.

We are absolutely honoured that Steve and Bev have entrusted us to carry this torch into the future. With similar values as a third-generation family-owned and operated funeral service provider, we will continue to operate the Waikerie chapel and office as a fully functional funeral home that is contactable 24/7.

You can continue to expect the same high-quality, personal and caring service that we deliver from Berri and Renmark, however, this service will now be offered to the residents of the Waikerie district and delivered from within the heart of Waikerie itself.

Riverland Funerals will continue to honour prearrangements such as pre-paid funerals and funeral bonds which have been established with SA Kleemann. We have offered for all existing staff to continue with Riverland Funerals and intend to create new employment opportunities within the Waikerie region in the coming months and years.

We look forward to engaging more closely with the Waikerie community and want to wish Steve and Bev all the very best in their retirement.

S A Kleemann (Steve & Bev Kleemann) thank everyone who has allowed them the privilege of conducting the funerals of those they love, or who have had a significant place in their lives.
After 20+ years of fulltime (24/7 365) service, primarily to the Riverland West & Mid Murray East areas, we have decided to pass on the baton of responsibility. Riverland Funerals will take on the S A Kleemann business, name, phone number, email address and page.
Riverland Funerals will continue the compassionate care, attention to detail and quality service you’ve come to expect, as 'S A Kleemann Funerals’ and will honour all Prepaid Funerals, Funeral Bonds and Pre-arranged Funerals.
