This is one of the most common things we hear in clinic — and one of the most frustrating experiences a person can have when it comes to their health.
“Normal” on a standard blood panel means you fall within a reference range built around population averages. It doesn’t mean optimal. It doesn’t mean your thyroid is converting properly, your iron is adequate for how you actually feel, your inflammation markers are in a range that supports good health, or that your hormones are balanced for you specifically.
Feeling unwell with “normal” results isn’t in your head. It’s a gap between what’s being measured and what’s actually going on.
This is exactly the kind of gap functional medicine is designed to investigate. If you’ve been dismissed or sent home without answers, we’d love to talk.
