We are heading back to the best community event of the year - Dogs Day Out at The Entrance North this Saturday!

Join us for a fantastic day celebrating our fabulous furry companions.

There will be pet market stalls, agility demos, training sessions, walking groups, fancy dress and best trick competitions.

Plus FREE microchipping, health checks and low-cost vaccinations.

We will also be tuning in to our favourite Behavioural Consultant, Shannon from Takes Two Training, speak about anxiety in pets - a topic many of our clients ask us about.

Today we farewell this very familiar face at our busy veterinary clinic - Nurse Kelsie!!!

She has been a fundamental team member of Erina Heights Vet Hospital for more than 10 years, evolving from Veterinary Nurse, Reception Superstar to Acting Practice Manager.

Thankfully, we will still see Kelsie at times as she has accepted an amazing opportunity within the animal industry.

Help us wish her the best of luck in her new role. Thank you Kelsie for all of your support (to us and our clients) over the years and for the many laughs!!!

Our pal Hugo, the Boston Terrier, shows us the importance of dental radiographs!

Below the gum line sits an unerupted tooth, which is causing an abscess that extends to the neighbouring pre-molar 😖

From the surface, there is no sign of this abnormality.

Hugo had both problem teeth successfully removed and is healing fabulously on a soft food diet for the next week!

Here he is post-op, feeling grateful. He is such a sweet boy 🥰

Dexter ordered the ‘Lion Clip’ - his long curly locks were getting tangled and not feeling as luscious after the busy summer holidays.

So, we delivered 😎

(Note - our nurses only perform grooms under sedation for pets that need it).
