It is that time of year again 🎄🎄🎄

As we head into the festive season, please check our December opening hours above and make sure you stock up early on your pet’s medications, food and flea/tick preventatives.

Also remember our Christmas food is not for the pets (even if they beg for it) 🫶🏼

🌟 THE BEST KIND OF NEWS 🌟

We are overjoyed to share that Cohen, the eight-year-old son of our Practice Manager Jade, has been declared CANCER FREE!

In just nine months, Cohen bravely faced brain surgery to remove a tumour followed by 30 radiation therapy sessions, four rounds of chemotherapy, 11 hospital admissions, feeding tubes, transfusions and countless scans and tests. Through every challenge, he showed incredible courage and resilience.

Jade has been by his side throughout his treatment at Westmead Children’s Hospital and is now back at work. We are so happy to welcome her home to the Erina Heights family.

Cohen is also back home with the rest of his family, including brothers Elias and Reeve, and his dad Rob, bringing some much-needed normality back into their lives. While he will still need regular tests and monitoring, after everything he’s overcome, we know Cohen can handle anything.

Best of all, he’s back at school finishing Year 2 with his friends, right where he belongs.

Please join us in celebrating this incredible milestone and sending love to this amazing family.

Frenchie Harvey and Nurse Robin enjoyed a quiet, sleepy cuddle before he headed in for surgery. 🥰💤

BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) can affect short-nosed breeds like French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers - and surprisingly, even Cavalier King Charles Spaniels! Their adorable flat faces can make it difficult to breathe, especially during exercise or in warm weather.

Harvey has recovered amazingly well after his BOAS surgery, with his Mum reporting he is breathing, sleeping and playing MUCH more easily.

Our team is passionate about helping every pet live their happiest, healthiest life - one comfortable breath at a time. 🧘🐾
