2016 to 2026 here we go. Thanks for the inspo.
2016 was pivotal for me.
I’d completed my GP fellowship and exams the year before, and made the decision to step away — not because medicine no longer mattered, but because I was searching for the part of it that truly lit me up.
That year I began training under an exceptionally skilled injector and ophthalmic surgeon - Dr Mela Brankov, and fell deeply into the world of aesthetics. I loved learning. I loved the precision. I loved the potential.
At the same time, I was still working in hospital — on call for a local group of obstetricians. Some nights meant being woken from sleep, rushing to theatre, and helping a baby being born before the rest of the world was awake.
I loved that intersection — women’s health, anatomy, care, and aesthetics — and I knew I’d found something special to build on.
Nearly ten years on, the evolution of my injecting career has been vast. At my core, I’m drawn to bioremodelling — supporting the body’s own regenerative processes, and exploring how this philosophy extends beyond the face into whole-person wellness.
I’m not sure what 2033 looks like yet.
But I know I’ll still be doing this — refining, learning, and building with intention.
