Death certificates are one of those things most people don’t think about… until they need them.

They’re an important part of managing everything that comes after, from finances to official records. The process can feel a bit overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

We’ll handle the paperwork, guide you through what’s needed, and keep you updated along the way.

If you have questions or need support, feel free to reach out anytime. 💜

The mums of North East Funerals. 💐

💛 Three generations: Kat with her daughter Maddison and her mum Christine.
🏉 Elise with her boys at the footy (go Hawks! 😉).
🤍 Sharon with her mum, who passed at 71.

A gentle reminder that we still celebrate and carry our mums with us, even when they’re no longer here.

Today, we’re thinking of all the mums, step mums, grandmothers, and mother figures who show up with love, care, and everything in between.

Happy Mother’s Day. 💜

Music can play such a big role in a service. 🎼

It can bring back memories, tell a story, and capture something words sometimes can’t. A single song can take you straight back to a person, a moment, or a feeling. ☺️

And the thing is, it doesn’t have to be traditional. It just has to feel right.

So we’re curious… What’s a funeral song you’ve heard that’s really stayed with you? Or, what would you choose for your own send-off?

Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear the songs that mean something to you.

So, how much does a funeral cost? It’s one of the first questions people have… and for good reason. ✔️

In Australia, funerals can range from around $4,000 to $15,000+, depending on things like the type of service, burial or cremation, coffin choice, venue, and personal touches.

It’s a big cost to navigate, especially if there was no pre-planning in place. The good news? You’ve got options.

We’re always open and transparent about pricing, and we’ll work with you to create something meaningful that also fits your budget.

No surprises. Just clear, honest conversations. 💜

International Bereaved Mother’s Day, a different kind of Mother’s Day. 🤍

Falling on the first Sunday of May every year, this is a day to honour mothers who have lost a child, experienced pregnancy loss, or are navigating infertility. A quieter, more gentle space that sits just before traditional Mother’s Day… recognising that these women are still mothers, always.

Created by Australian Carly Marie Dudley in 2010, this day exists to acknowledge a different kind of motherhood. One that isn’t always seen, but is deeply felt.

If you know someone this day may be for, reach out. Letting them know you’re thinking of them can mean more than you realise.

For support and resources, you can also visit Pregnancy After Loss Support.
