With the closure of our Nurses’ Results Line, here’s how to access your results:

🔹 If your doctor marks your result as No Further Action:

You can:
âś” Book a brief Bulk Billed telephone appointment to request a copy
âś” Access your results via My Health Record

🔹 If follow-up is required:

Our team will contact you to arrange an appointment.

For new symptoms or concerns, please book a standard consultation.

This ensures all results are appropriately reviewed and documented.

📢 Important Update from North East Family Medicine

To ensure safe, efficient and well-documented care, we are introducing the following changes from 10th March 2026:

đź“ž 1. Brief Telephone Appointments

Repeat prescriptions, repeat referrals and standard medical certificates will now require a brief telephone appointment.

These appointments:
âś” Are short
âś” Are for one issue only
âś” Replace online prescription & referral requests

📋 2. Closure of the Nurses’ Results Line

Our nurses will no longer provide results over the phone.

If your GP marks your result as “No Further Action”, you may:

• Book a brief telephone appointment to receive a copy
OR
• Access your results via My Health Record

If your result requires follow-up, our team will contact you.

These changes help us:
• Maintain patient privacy
• Ensure safe clinical review
• Reduce delays
• Keep care coordinated
