Recently, we were pleased to host Shelly Harper, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, at North East Family Medicine.

Shelly delivered two small group education sessions for patients living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), focusing on:
• Understanding how exercise can support lung health
• Safe and appropriate ways to stay active
• Building confidence with movement and breathing

These sessions provided practical, evidence-based information to help patients better manage their condition and maintain independence.

We appreciate Shelly sharing her knowledge and supporting our patients in improving their health and wellbeing.
