Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC) options such as the Implanon/ MIRENA IUD or the Copper IUD are very effective -99.8%-99.95% and are put and leave for between 3years for the Implanon or 5yrs for MIRENA or even 10years for the Copper IUD -they are also cost effective for the lifetime they can be used for.
