✨Yesterday I had the pleasure of being a part of a small land meditation & healing group in Jells Park held by Yolanda Tong. 🌲

Before we start I like to ground in my energy & connect with the land & trees so that’s what I did. There were 4 trees in particular.

The first tree I connected with whispered these words.

Healing tree 🌲
Tree tree sing with me,
Sing with me a melody ,
A Melody so soft, so sweet, so pure,
A remedy to heal, to fix, to cure,
Come sit with me and you will feel,
The remedies and melodies that pour out of me. 💜Thank you🙏🏼

During our meditation we were directed to move around & connect with the trees so that’s what we did & we were all guided to the tree that gave me this message as it truly was a healing tree.🥰

I love working with the land and trees it truly is so grounding & healing for my body, mind & soul.

Did you know I used to be a personal Trainer? And it’s true what they say if you don’t use it you lose it! Whoops 🫣I am guilty of losing it…I said it out loud.

All it takes to get it back is commitment to yourself, showing up every day & moving your body the way that feels right for you.

Here’s a quick little morning routine that I like to do & I mix it up each morning.

1. Bounce on your rebounder trampoline or if you don’t have one then try star jumps or sitting on your couch 🛋️ bounce your legs up & down on the spot 200 times. Whilst I am on my rebounder or even if I am out walking I will move my arms either swinging or twisting then lightly tapping over my chest, arms, up my legs all going towards my heart just gently waking up my bodies lymphatic system as I go. (5-10mins)

2. Floor exercises - here I have used a 5kg weight with a combination of some glute bridges, Russian twists, crunches I do 10 reps x 3 sets of each (10mins-15mins)

3. Finish with a gentle stretch & yoga flow of cat/cow, cobra, child’s pos to finish off. (5-10mins)

I like to stretch out my body from child’s pose and whilst still in this position gently walk my hands over to my right side & hold for 10 seconds then release. Walk your hands back to centre & then repeat on left side. There is something about twisting my torso that makes me feel good. 🥰

All while listening to some music to get me going.
