Julie and Jane are down at the ANZ Neurodiversity Marketplace at the ANZ building in Melbourne Docklands today. Such an AMAZING opportunity and so encouraging of ANZ to support their staff each year to access neurodivergent resources (and hosting primarily neurodivergent led businesses).

Sensory Friendly Clothing: Abby from Norwood Secondary College has been on board with us at Sensory Friendly Clothing with her work experience this week. Abby has learnt the process of design and manufacturing of products, as well as our warehouse system. She has assisted in processing of heaps of orders this week as well as helping us get through some of our mountains of products for stocktake. As you can see in this photo, there was a Swifty's vibe in the warehouse this week with Jane and Abby not having any troubles finding a topic of conversation every day.

PD: Jane, adult with long dark hair standing side on close to camera with Abby, teenager with long blonde hair standing beside Jane. They are facing shelving and Abby is holding a product and checking it's size is correct and Jane is opening a drawer to pick up a product. The shelving has black clothing in plastic packaging on it. The background shows more of the warehouse with boxes and shelving. Both Jane and Abby are wearing grey coloured knitted Taylor Swift brand cardigans.

Is your child struggling to put their shoes and socks on for school in the morning?
It can be very difficult for them to overcome the irritation from something as simple as a pair of socks. They can feel minor lumps and bumps, the scratchy fabric or find the toe or heel seams incredibly irritating.
Imagine wearing a pair of socks with several small sharp rocks inside them, you can’t remove them and are expected to wear them for 7 hours, 5 days a week! This is how it can feel for them. This is why Sensory Friendly Clothing has developed our incredibly soft seamless feel socks to help minimise the stress of the morning routine (for everyone in the house!) and to help them get through their day!

We often underestimate the profound impact of smaller steps.
At Sensory Friendly Clothing we believe in the significance of each stride, especially in the context of making clothing more inclusive and accessible.
So here's to celebrating the significance of the little steps – they lead us to a world where people can feel comfortable, confident, and seen.

We often underestimate the profound impact of the little gains that are made.
At Sensory Friendly Clothing we believe in the significance of each step, no matter how small they feel. Our clothing can enable the wearer to make these steps more achievable by removing the sensory limitations that regular clothing can present.

So here's to celebrating the significance of the little steps – they lead us to a world where people can feel comfortable, confident, and seen.
