I still remember the first time I decided to take control of my health — enrolling in a Functional Nutrition course. It was nervous but empowering, and so full of knowledge. I knew I wanted to do this to support and heal my body, manage my duplication syndrome, and make sure it didn’t control me.

That first step changed everything. I discovered my passion for wellbeing, fermented foods, and understanding my body, and it also sparked my dream to create a caring, supportive, and beautiful small business — so I can help others take control of their conditions and support their health journey, and live their optimal best life. 🌱

There are so many things people don’t realise about living with a disability — and understanding them can make a huge difference in how we connect, support, and respect each other.

Here are a few gentle truths:
1️⃣ Not every disability is visible — someone might look “fine” but still face daily challenges.
2️⃣ Independence doesn’t always mean doing everything alone — asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
3️⃣ Accessibility isn’t a luxury — it’s a right. Small changes can make life easier for everyone.
4️⃣ Energy levels fluctuate — some days are easier than others, and that’s completely normal.
5️⃣ Lived experience teaches insights that no book or course can replicate — listen before assuming.

These small truths make a big difference in understanding and connection.
