Living Choice Queensland - Staff Achievements!



We’re proud to share that Joanne Passlow (Village Manager) and Jenni Morris (Assistant Village Manager) celebrated reaching 1,000 personal development points through online learning and training through DCM Institute—a fantastic achievement!

The awards were announced at the Village Summit recently in Brisbane, part of a national roadshow. It’s an incredible opportunity to network and hear from inspiring presenters. This year’s theme was “Wellbeing Done Well”, focusing on practical strategies to support residents and teams.

Ambassador High Tea – A Celebration of Dedication.

What a day!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Morning Tea Tours Event at Kawana Island. The sunshine certainly turned it on, making it the perfect day for a guided walk through our Leisure Centre facilities, the stunning Villa 41, and the beautifully appointed Emerald Apartment 107.

It was wonderful to meet many prospective retirees exploring what life here could look like as part of our warm, welcoming community. A special thank you to Bennys Bistro and Catering QLD for providing the delicious treats that made the morning extra special.

Celebrating Nancy Bourke’s Retirement!

We recently gathered at The Boatshed, Maroochydore to celebrate the retirement of Nancy Bourke, who has dedicated an incredible 22 years to Living Choice.

The evening was filled with laughter and fond memories as Christine and Nancy shared stories from their two decades of working together.
Christine also presented Nancy with a Certificate of Acknowledgement on behalf of Living Choice, recognising her loyalty and hard work. Nancy was delighted to receive her gift cards as well!

Nancy is looking forward to this next chapter—pursuing her hobbies and enrolling in courses at Sunshine Coast University. Many may not know that Nancy is also a very talented artist!
Congratulations, Nancy! Wishing you all the best in your exciting new adventure.
