Does your nervous system do this when you try and set a boundary or to try a new healthy pattern?

Here’s the truth: Setting boundaries is a skill, not something you’re born knowing how to do.

Your nervous system will always try to protect you and changing a pattern is so uncomfortable emotionally that your nervous system may feel more like a five-alarm fire than it does, calm, confident, and assured.

Emotional after a good time? Nothing wrong with you.

Any kind of heightened states is followed by a crash. It's notmal. To your nervous system whether it's a hard time or a great time, it goes through the same process. It needs to recover after the energy expending time you've just had.

🌱 Laughing makes you live longer ~ I am Tunisian and Tunisians never miss a giggle. I am my mother's daughter and my mum, boy did she know how to create 'Jaow'! (fun)

🌱 There is nothing more spiritual than honouring your physicality, your life as a human being, as daughter or son of, as from this or that country and culture. I heard talk about it but never quite grasped it as much as in the Mentawai jungle, with Papa and Mama.

🌱 The best way to help people learn is to speak your voice. Tell your story, open about your experience. People will take what they want, what they are ready to hear and they will make seeds out of these words.
