After years in the aesthetics industry, one shift stands out more than anything else.

One of the questions I get asked often is what has changed the most in the aesthetics industry since I first started.

The biggest shift has been moving away from treating single concerns and toward a more holistic approach focused on skin health, long term planning, and supporting the skin itself.

Today, we are thinking beyond just structure or lines and placing a much stronger focus on skin quality, collagen support, and healthy ageing over time.

This shift has been one of the most positive changes in our industry because it allows us to create more natural, refined, and lasting outcomes.

Because it’s not about doing more.
It’s about treating smarter, planning long term, and supporting your skin as it changes over time.

We’ve been keeping a little secret… 🤍

As you might know, Morgan (my husband) has recently stepped into the business full time as our clinic manager, looking after all things day to day and keeping everything running behind the scenes.
But what you might not know is that he’s also currently studying his Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
Honestly… what can’t this man do? 😅🤍

Education, progression and working together are really important to us at Aesthetics by Maddy-Jane, and this felt like such a natural next step. Once completed, Morgan will be working closely alongside myself and our nursing team in a more clinical role as our dermal therapist, supporting results driven skin treatments and working hand in hand with our medical aesthetic services to help achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

By continuing to expand our knowledge across both skin health and medical aesthetics, we’re able to offer more personalised, well rounded treatment plans, always tailored to each individual.

Just a husband and wife duo building our business in the most authentic way possible, learning as we go and doing what we love with the help of our amazing nursing team 🤍

Welcoming our newest team member to Aesthetics by Maddy Jane at our Singleton clinic 🤍✨

Eliza will officially start welcoming clients from March, but you will likely see her around the clinic before then. Registered Nurse Eliza brings a beautiful balance of clinical skill, calm energy and genuine care. With experience across surgical, rehabilitation and mental health nursing, her practice is grounded in patient safety, strong assessment and holistic, person centred care.

She will continue working part time in the hospital alongside her journey into aesthetic nursing, combining her strong clinical foundation with a growing passion for skin health, cosmetic treatments and helping clients feel confident, informed and supported ✨

Fun fact Eliza and Nurse Maddy worked together over 12 years ago, fresh out of high school, starting as nursing assistants in aged care. Life really does come full circle 🤍

Eliza is also a mum to two beautiful boys and understands first hand the balance between caring for others and caring for yourself. Her warm, approachable nature helps clients feel comfortable, heard and supported 💕

Eliza will be working at our Singleton clinic two days a week and fortnightly Saturdays, which means Singleton is now open 5 days a week. Something we are so excited to offer our community 🎉🤍 Nurse Shannon and Nurse Maddy will continue their usual hours as normal.

As we step into this year, our focus is on the things that matter most to us. Calm, unrushed appointments, personalised care and honest advice you can truly feel confident in.

While there are no huge life/business changes this year (no we’re not opening another clinic and no not having another baby 😂), but there are still a few exciting things happening behind the scenes that we are really looking forward to sharing with you, so keep an eye out. 🤩

More than anything, we are grateful to be heading into another year caring for our clients, welcoming familiar faces back into clinic and meeting new ones along the way.
