My body is still buzzing from an incredible weekend. 🌈⭐️

A weekend filled with so many inspiring athletes coming together to celebrate freediving, the work they've put in and to celebrate each other 🎉

Thank you so much for putting on such an incredible event.  The vibes with you guys are always next level. 👌⭐️

Competition is a celebration of all the work you have put in before hand. 🎉🎉

Last weekend,  I hit an unexpected milestone. ⭐️ The first time that I touched the 4th wall in the pool. ⭐️⭐️

I say unexpected, because although of course I've been puting hours into my training,  the discipline that I chose,  ive only been learning for 6 weeks.
This comp for me, was just simply an opportunity to explore the water and see where it took me.

I always say, I dont care about reaching pbs or milestones in competition.  My motivation is all intrinsic, a drive to simply be better than I was yesterday. 🏆

What I didn't realise was how GOOD it would feel to celebrate this milestone with the amazing tribe I surround myself with.
THIS  is what competition is about.   Celebrating each other, inspiring one another and connecting through our shared passions. 🙏

In a sport, where it looks like I am alone in the water, is actually the place where I feel most supported and connected ✨️

I am so grateful for the amazing humans around me (you know who you are). 🙏🙏

A special shout out to my incredible coach who always believes in me way more than I believe in myself .freediving🔥😘

And my relentless Training buddy for always always having my back. ⭐️

I've never trained for physicality. 

Training to me has always been about mental mastery.  Can I not only overcome discomfort, but find pleasure in it.  ☀️

Freediving to me is the ultimate challenge in physical and mental mastery.   An opportunity to meet with myself and to find my truth. 🌱💫

This week has been one of the most amazing and inspiring weeks of my life.  An opportunity to stand beside the athletes that I admire most and to swim with joy in my heart at Aida World Pool Freediving Championship. 🧡

Never underestimate the power of believing in someone.   Whispering in their ear that perhaps they are capable of more than they believe... ⭐️

Never underestimate the power of simply showing up day after day, and doing the work..... some days for sure, there are high fives and happy tears, some days there are tears of frustration.  Every day has its own challenges and its own lessons. Every single day we grow.🌱

Competition is a celebration of all the work that has been done.

 But the BIGGER  celebration is of who you have become while doing the work. ☀️🌈.

A huge shout out to all the incredible people that are supporting me in this journey, it means the world 🙏☀️. 

This is just the beginning ...
